Reuters has reported that Google and Facebook are both contemplating deals with Skype. Facebook is reported to be contemplating a buy out as well as a deal while Google is looking towards a joint venture. No news has been released on whom Skype is leaning towards.
It wasn't too long ago that eBay, an online auctioning company attempted to strike a deal with Skype, to no avail. With Facebook and Google offering a very different audience from eBay it will be interesting to see how this will shape up over the coming days.
