Despite initial reports suggesting that the device will only be available for pre-order starting tomorrow it appears that the device is already available for purchase.The handset is available in black and purple and those who purchase it will receive free overnight shipping along with a Sony Bluetooth wireless speaker.These are limited time, online-only offers.
The Xperia Z will cost you $99.99 up front with $20 payments over the next 24 months and purchasing outright will cost you $579.99
The Xperia Z is the company's flagship smartphone featuring a a 5 inch full HD touch display with a Mobile BRAVIA engine, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB of RAM. The added water resistance gives this smartphone a slight edge over some of its competitors.
